MILLAN EXPORTACIONES SPAIN

Opening Doors

There are people who at some point in their lives have felt that when their wildest dreams are exceeded, a knife appears behind their back; creating a company is not easy, which is why many prefer to stay in their comfort zone. We do not judge them; it is difficult to dare to share your dreams with others, especially when this dream is your life project.

Recently, we were part of the select group of speakers at the National Congress of Training and Business, BINOMIO, held in Córdoba, Spain. We are extremely grateful to the National Jewelry Reference Center (CRN) and Diario Joya for their invitation to participate in such a magnificent event. This event provides all these companies with the opportunity to showcase their great potential in all the services provided by some and products offered by others. It opens doors to great projects already established and to other promising future ones.

Diamond or Brilliant?

Image Description 2

Even today, many people still confuse these terms, thinking that using either will lead to the same concept or definition.

Let's start by talking about the technical definition of a diamond, which describes it as one of the most valuable minerals in the world due to its physical and optical characteristics. The diamond is the second most stable form of carbon, after graphite.

Diamond has the highest hardness and thermal conductivity of any known material.

Due to its extremely rigid crystalline structure, it can be contaminated by very few types of impurities, such as boron and nitrogen. Combined with its great transparency, this results in the clear and colorless appearance of most natural diamonds.

Among its unique characteristics, diamond has a relatively high refractive dispersion, which is the property of dispersing light into different colors. Its excellent optical and mechanical properties, combined with efficient marketing, make diamond the most exquisite and sought-after gem by connoisseurs.

The term "brilliant" refers to the type of cut found in a faceted gem; it is a diamond fully cut on both sides, and its shape is round.

The term "brilliant" should only be used when referring to a diamond cut in a brilliant shape.
